132231 - IFC Export/Import Notes
Please note: For correct opening lines the corresponding Revit Add-in is also needed in both directions of transfer.
Import: If set up so in registry (PC) or Preferences (Mac) doors now may have 2D symbol when exported from Revit and opened in ArchiCAD (build 3482).
Export: If set up so in registry (PC) or Preferences (Mac) doors now may have 2D symbol when exported from ArchiCAD (build 3482) and opened in Revit via IFC. Please note that in case of Doors placed in Walls with Complex Profiles the opening lines will not be transferred to Revit due to a Revit bug that our Add-in cannot solve.
If the reveal is applied to the doors, the wall display might be incorrect when we open the IFC file in Revit. Due to a known Revit issue, the following incorrect displays might appear on floor plan:
- In case of reveal, negative reveal:

- In case of slanted-, splayed-, or historical reveal:

- If the door frame is asymmetric to the axis of the wall, it might get shifted in Revit:
