System Requirements

Upgrade for Virtual Building Explorer for ArchiCAD 14

Please contact your local ArchiCAD reseller for how to upgrade your current Virtual Building Explorer license for the latest version.

Installation

Check if you have a valid ArchiCAD 14 installation on your computer.
Locate the desired language and OS version in the list below and download the installer.
Start the installer. The installer wizard will guide you through the installation process.
Connect the ArchiCAD keyplug that contains the VBE license to the computer.

Important:When installing Virtual Building Explorer, you must be logged on as a member of the Administrator Group.
For Windows users: Java 6 is required to run installer/uninstaller. If you do not have Java 6 on your system, it will be automatically installed when you start installing Virtual Building Explorer.

How to obtain a Virtual Building Explorer license

If you decide to purchase a Virtual Building Explorer license, please contact your ArchiCAD reseller. Product licenses may be uploaded to the ArchiCAD protection key via the internet. After obtaining the license for VBE you have already installed, it is going to work under your licensed ArchiCAD 14 with full functionality.
