This web page contains Add-Ins developed by GRAPHISOFT to achieve improved collaboration between ArchiCAD and other programs from various disciplines.
Improved ArchiCAD Connection Add-In for Revit Applications
Free Add-In developed for use by Autodesk Revit programs in the Structure and MEP disciplines. This application is recommended for use with IFC-based model exchange between GRAPHISOFT ArchiCAD and Revit applications. The Add-In for Revit applications variously enables direct import of ArchiCAD IFC models and IFC model export to ArchiCAD, or serves to optimize Revit’s standard IFC import and export functions used to exchange data with ArchiCAD.

Note: If you are using Revit MEP, we recommend that you use the Improved ArchiCAD Connection Add-In for IFC model imports only. If you plan to export HVAC elements only from Revit MEP, we recommend a special GRAPHISOFT-developed Add-In for Revit MEP, called “MEP Export to ArchiCAD”. See below at MEP Export to ArchiCAD Add-Ins.
Following installation, the application will be available from the Add-Ins ribbon of the respective Revit application.

MEP Export to ArchiCAD Add-Ins
Free applications designed to improve MEP element export from Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP to GRAPHISOFT ArchiCAD.
Although Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP can export IFC models using standard file handling commands, these Add-Ins provide additional features that will improve the export of MEP elements, by optimizing IFC models for the exchange of MEP elements with ArchiCAD. The Add-Ins enable you to save an IFC file that is specially enhanced for use in GRAPHISOFT MEP Modeler. When importing the resulting IFC files to ArchiCAD, GRAPHISOFT MEP Modeler will convert Revit MEP or AutoCAD MEP elements to MEP Modeler elements.
