| Description |
A wrapped displacement providing a regular dimpled
appearance to a material.
This displacement may be thought of as a grid of spheres
which protrude above a material's surface.
The distance between the centres of adjacent spheres
is specified by argument "separation",
and the radius of a sphere is set with argument "radius".
The distance beneath the surface of the
centres of the spheres is specified by argument
"centre depth".
This distance must be non-negative, and should be no
greater than the radius of the spheres.
A value between 0.0 and 1.0 which controls the size of a blend
between the sphere and the surface is specified by
argument "blend", for which a value of 0.0 indicates no
blend, and a value of 1.0 maximum blend.
An overall scaling factor can be specified by argument
"scale"; increasing this value will make the dimples
appear larger.
