Shader: "paving"

"paving"

ClassDisplacement
Synopsis A displacement shader creating patterns of pavings made of irregular stones.
Arguments

"scale" Description: Overall scaling factor; increasing this value will make the pattern appear larger.
Default:1.0
Hint:-
"shape variation" Description: Controls how irregular tiles will be generated. Setting 0 creates cube tiles (squares visible on surfaces to which the shader is applied). Larger values make tiles more irregular. Usually values from 0.5 to 1.0 make tiles completely irregular.
Default:0.6
Hint:[ 0.0, 1.0 ]
"paving smoothness" Description: Specifies whether tiles should be sharp-edged (0) or smooth (values greater than 0).
Default:0.0
Hint:-
"slab size" Description: The size of stone slabs.
Default:0.27
Hint:-
"mortar size" Description: The amount of mortar between the tiles.
Default:0.03
Hint:-
"pattern offset" Description: You may use this argument to choose a part of the pattern which will be visible on an object to which the shader is applied. Sometimes (especially when "shape variation" is low), it may be that a surface of an object aligns with a layer of mortar and the whole surface looks like a mortar. In such situations this argument may be used to move the pattern slightly, and make stones appear.
Default:(0, 0, 0)
Hint:-
"paving height 1" Description: One extreme of the range of heights to be used for the tiles.
Default:0.9
Hint:[ -1.0, 1.0 ]
"paving height 2" Description: The other extreme of the range of colours to be used for the tiles.
Default:1.0
Hint:[ -1.0, 1.0 ]
"paving height variation scale" Description: Controls how the height variation is distributed across the tile. Small values will give a speckled effect whilst larger ones will give larger patches of different heights on the tile.
Default:2
Hint:-
"paving grain variation" Description: Controls how strong the colour grains are. 0 means that we don't want grains, small values (slightly above 0) create subtle dark spots and high values make grains quite strong.
Default:0.008
Hint:[ 0.0, 0.5 ]
"paving grain variation scale" Description: Controls the grain frequency, i.e., how big and dense the grains are.
Default:20
Hint:-
"mortar centre height" Description: The height of the mortar at its centre.
Default:0.87
Hint:[ -1.0, 1.0 ]
"mortar edge height" Description: The height of the mortar at its edge.
Default:0.9
Hint:[ -1.0, 1.0 ]
"mortar height variation" Description: Adds irregularities (noise) to the colour gradient between the centre and edges of the mortar. Larger values mean more irregularites in colour. These distortions will be more prounounced toward the edges.
Default:0.1
Hint:-
"mortar height variation scale" Description: Controls the frequency of the noise applied to the mortar height.
Default:5
Hint:-
"mortar irregularity" Description: Controls whether the lines formed by the mortar are straight (0) or distorted (higher value).
Default:0.1
