Shader: "wrapped roof shingles"

"wrapped roof shingles"

ClassDisplacement
Synopsis A displacement shader reproducing roof shingles pattern.
Arguments

"scale" Description: Overall scaling factor; increasing this value will make the pattern appear larger.
Default:1.0
Hint:-
"pattern" Description: Selects the style of roof shingles.
Default:1
Hint:-
"tile width" Description: The width of the tiles.
Default:0.24
Hint:-
"tile height" Description: The height of the tiles.
Default:0.165
Hint:-
"vertical offset variation" Description: Specifies whether all tiles are the same (0) or their height differs. A value of 1 means that some tiles may be completely covered by tiles above them.
Default:0.0
Hint:-
"tile thickness" Description: The thickness of the tiles.
Default:0.015
Hint:[ 0.01, 0.2 ]
"tile angle" Description: Controls how tiles are positioned relative to the surface on which they are placed. An angle of 0 means that tiles are co-planar with the surface. An angle of 80 means that they are almost perpendicular to the surface. Tiles may appear to be shorter when this value is high.
Default:10.0
Hint:[ 0, 45 ]
"overlap area" Description: Controls the size of the area where tiles belonging to two adjacent rows of tiles overlap; 0 means that tiles don't overlap and 0.5 means that every tile covers half of a tile from the next row of tiles.
Default:0.1
Hint:[ 0.0, 0.8 ]
"row offset" Description: Determines how much every row is offset relative to the previous one, as a percentage of the tile width. A value 0 means no offset, i.e., the tiles will form columns. A value 0.5 means that every tile starts in the middle of a tile from the previous row.
Default:0.5
Hint:-
"grain amplitude" Description: The surface of the tiles may be distorted by grains. This argument controls how prounounced these grains are.
Default:0.1
Hint:-
"grains horizontal scale" Description: The surface of the tiles may be distorted by grains. This argument controls the size of the grains in the horizontal direction. By varying the size of the grains in the horizontal and vertical directions you can alter the shape of the grains; if both scales are equal, both dimensions are similar for most grains. On the other hand, if one of scales is significantly greater that the other, then grains turn into grooves.
Default:0.01
Hint:-
"grains vertical scale" Description: The surface of the tiles may be distorted by grains. This argument controls the size of the grains in the vertical direction. By varying the size of the grains in the horizontal and vertical directions you can alter the shape of the grains; if both scales are equal, both dimensions are similar for most grains. On the other hand, if one of scales is significantly greater that the other, then grains turn into grooves.
Default:0.03
Hint:-
"grains threshold" Description: The surface of the tiles may be distorted by grains. This argument controls which grains we want to get; 0 means that we accept all grains are visible, higher values mean that only the deeper grains are visible. This provides an additional way to adjust the shape of the grains. Values around 0 make tiles rough and bumpy, while high values (around 0.5 and more) make tiles look as if they were flat with small holes.
Default:0.5
Hint:-
"side chamfer" Description: The side and bottom edges of tiles are chamfered. This argument controls the size of the side chamfer area.
Default:0.005
Hint:-
"bottom chamfer" Description: The side and bottom edges of tiles are chamfered. This argument controls the size of the bottom chamfer area.
Default:0.005
