Graphisoft US Names New VP for Architecture Group
Industry Veteran Joins ARCHICAD Team
San Francisco, CA, April 9, 2001 - Graphisoft US, a leading provider of Virtual Building™ products for building design and management, has appointed Christopher Barron, AIA as vice president of sales and marketing for their architecture division. Barron will head up Graphisoft's efforts under Al Moulton, president of Graphisoft US, to form North American distribution strategies and implementations for mid-sized and large organizations.
Barron brings over 16 years of experience in marketing management of AEC technology solutions. He joins Graphisoft after serving at MCAD producer think3 Inc. of Santa Clara as director of strategic business development for Asia and the Pacific. Previously, he was director of marketing for the AEC group and director of corporate industry marketing at Autodesk. Barron earned his bachelor of arts degree at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vt., and his master's degree in architecture at Harvard University.
