Don Henrich Joins Graphisoft as Vice President and General Manager of Graphisoft US, Inc.
Boston, Mass./Budapest, April 16, 2004 - Graphisoft® today announced that as of April 19, Don Henrich will be joining the company as the Vice President and General Manager of Graphisoft US, Inc. In this role, Mr. Henrich will be the principal executive in charge of Graphisoft's North American subsidiary based in Boston .
Don Henrich comes to Graphisoft from firstRain, Inc. where he ran Sales, Services, and Marketing for this venture-funded startup. His background in the CAD industry began with sales executive positions at Computervision and Adra Systems. He went on to co-found MatrixOne, a leader in the PDM market (Nasdaq: MONE), and then began a very successful run at Parametric Technology Corporation. At PTC Don lived and worked abroad for 5 years including a position running all operations in Europe . He was then promoted to VP and General Manager of Asia Pacific where he drove the development of PTC's 500-person division based in Tokyo. He left PTC in the US-based capacity of Sr. Vice President of Marketing where he was responsible for a 300-person marketing team and was the key contact for over 100 partners and channel members.
Don Henrich holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and is participating in the Northeastern University MBA program. He has served on numerous Boards and committees including the Board of Directors of Distributed Bits, Software Emancipation, and WebFS, and is frequently a speaker at technology conferences and at major universities.
