Giovanna Mandato joins Graphisoft as Director of Global Marketing

Budapest, September 07, 2004 - Graphisoft® announces the appointment of Giovanna Mandato as the Director of Global Marketing. In her role, Ms. Mandato will be responsible for worldwide outbound communications and marketing.

Giovanna Mandato comes to Graphisoft from the telecommunications industry with 22 years of senior management and global marketing experience. Her background in telecommunications began in 1982 with AT&T and later Vivendi Telecom Hungary in 1998. Throughout her career, she held increasingly responsible marketing and management positions focused on business, consumer and government markets.

Ms. Mandato joins Graphisoft from her role as Commercial Deputy Managing Director for Vivendi Telecom Hungary. She was responsible for building a 300-employee marketing organization focused on market research, product management, market management, sales and operations, customer service and marketing communications. Previously Ms. Mandato was Moscow-based as Director of Marketing for Russia (CIS Ltd.) where she developed strategic partnerships to launch 10 global bilateral services for AT&T focused on US multinational companies. Other career highlights with AT&T were as head of Regional Marketing, during which she developed marketing strategies and programs for 14 states and 10 target markets maintaining a 92% market share. Later, promoted to Project Director, she was responsible for negotiating and implementing a $200 million global military project covering 16 countries.

Ms. Mandato holds a Bachelor and Masters of Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing from the University of Missouri. She earned further certifications at George Washington University and American University respectively for Project Management and International Business. She has served on numerous Boards, Committees and Advisory Councils in the telecommunications and airline industries.
