The more than 400 professionals expected to attend this three-day building industry conference at the Safari Park Hotel will be exposed to the latest in Information Technology (IT) to learn how it can improve their communication throughout the design, construction and sales process.

"Graphisoft applauds and supports The Architectural Association of Kenya for providing this forum for its members and the industry to exchange information," says András Lovas, Graphisoft's international sales manager for Africa. "Our knowledge and experience in the area of information technology can advance the Association's mission."

The three-day conference program includes panel discussions on housing, land and environment, construction development and finance. Graphisoft will also hold seminars at its exhibition booth on such key topics as managing CAD projects and achieving collaborative architecture on the Internet.

"The computerization of the Building Industry not only automates and expedites the flow of work, but it improves communication. And better communication ultimately leads to a better built environment," says Riyaz Kurji, managing director of Elite Computers, Graphisoft's distributor for East Africa, including Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
