Graphisoft Hires Mark Sawyer to Head World Wide Field Operations
Mark Sawyer, Vice President of World Wide Field Operations to Lead the Company’s Global Sales Operations
Budapest, September 17, 2003 - Graphisoft®, developer of the Virtual Building™ concept appointed Mark Sawyer as Graphisoft’s new VP of World Wide Field Operations effective immediately. Sawyer will lead the global sales and support operations of Graphisoft and drive the company forward as the AEC industry is poised to make major shift in how buildings are designed, approved and managed.

Mark Sawyer, the new VP of World Wide Field Operations, joins Graphisoft with an outstanding track record of establishing and leading global sales operations on the AEC market and of boosting revenues.
Mark Sawyer was with Autodesk, Inc. for seven years finally serving as vice president and general manager of the AEC division of Autodesk. Under his leadership the AEC division of Autodesk launched the Architectural Desktop in the USA market and went on to create a global software development organization with R&D teams and partners in Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, and Sweden. Mr. Sawyer holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
