ArchiCAD® is Graphisoft's purpose-built virtual modeling solution that allows architects to assemble all necessary information of their building design into a three dimensional Virtual Building™ model. With over 100,000 users worldwide, and over a million realized projects, ArchiCAD is a tried, tested and proven solution for architects who design and build "Great Buildings".

While workflow is centred on ArchiCAD, other applications may also contribute to the creation as well as the analysis of the Virtual Building data. Because of ArchiCAD's open architecture and support of IFC standards, ArchiCAD can be easily connected with, and used in conjunction with, a variety of other applications. As a result, with ArchiCAD-based architectural solutions, every part of the architectural workflow can be sufficiently covered with the widest usage of the Virtual Building's data.

• Graphisoft EcoDesigner allows architects, from within Graphisoft ArchiCAD, to perform quick energy evaluation of their design using the dynamic, reliable and certified VIPCore calculation engine developed by StruSoft. The Building Energy Evaluation Report provides instant design feedback by providing information on the energy efficiency of the building and the applied structures, the yearly energy consumption, carbon footprint and monthly energy balance of the project.
• Graphisoft Virtual Building Explorer for ArchiCAD is an innovative, interactive, 3D presentation tool for architects, which sets new standards for design communication and presentation. Clients, consultants, builders, etc. - can explore and fully understand the entire architectural project design at any stage of the design development process in a user friendly 3D navigation environment without the need to hold a license of Graphisoft ArchiCAD or Virtual Building Explorer!
• Graphisoft MEP Modeler - Architectural practices and architectural departments of A/E firms using ArchiCAD can use MEP Modeler to create, edit or import 3D MEP networks (ductwork, piping and cable trays) and coordinate them with the ArchiCAD Virtual Building™.
• Structural - Now with the bi-directional I/O capabilities via IFC or native file format, the architect and the structural engineer can use the same Virtual Building model. A structure designed in this same model can be used for stress analysis as well reflecting automatically the changes effectuated by either parties.
• Artlantis Render/Studio - The ultimate tools to easily create high quality, still renderings and movies, bringing fast, "one-click" radiosity to the desktop.
• Cinema 4D - Maxon's high-end free-form modeler application with full animation and rendering capabilities. CINEMA 4D's intuitive interface and logical workflow make it possible to dive in and be productive quickly. To ensure that creating free-form shapes continues to be possible for our users, we are releasing a free CINEMA 4D add-on that allows seamless data exchange between ArchiCAD 12 and C4D 11.
• Google SketchUp - this add-on to ArchiCAD allows architects and principals to focus on creativity at the earliest concept phase of any new project, knowing that their designs can be automatically imported into the Virtual Building environment.
  
• Google Earth Connections - the essential tool to access Google 3D Warehouse directly from ArchiCAD or present your design solution in its virtual context in Google Earth.
