We would like to announce the final results of the ArchiCAD Best Practices Competition.

1st. Prize (€3000):	We regret to announce that we were unable to award a first prize, because none of the entries received fully met the evaluation criteria.

"Accountability"

A well-written essay on the merits of 3D model-based design and estimation. The jury also appreciated the practical tips on how to organize a plan and how to extract data from the model for quantity surveying purposes.

"GDL-Time-Schedule for Buildings"

A description of a utility (actually a GDL object, included for free download) that creates time schedules within ArchiCAD. The jury appreciated the creative approach and the fact that by using this utility, the architect requires no external, specialized application to create bar-charts.

"Practical Advice for ArchiCAD"

Gives practical advice on how to create custom objects in ArchiCAD without GDL programming. Almost a concise version of "Object Making with ArchiCAD" - in Hungarian.
