Internet-enabled workflow management
With ArchiCAD, you can share your project data with remote clients and colleagues for review and mark-up, regardless if they have ArchiCAD installed.
Because your clients and consultants require different data, Project Publisher allows you to easily, and in one batch, process all project documents into convenient sets that comprise 2D, 3D views, movie files and quantity take-offs, for printing, saving to your disk or uploading to the Internet. These sets are automatically updated to include all changes made to the project file, so they always contain the most recent data. Your partners can even receive email notification about the changes.
Published files can be opened, reviewed and redlined in Project Reviewer, a free Java-based viewer embedded in all published documents. This is a great tool for clients, consultants, or firm principals, as no copy or knowledge of ArchiCAD is required. Files redlined in Reviewer can be merged smoothly back into the Virtual BuildingTM thanks to Project Mark-Up.
Project Mark-Up supports redlining activity within ArchiCAD in a single user and TeamWork environment, using the standard construction tools, as well as a special redlining palette. All comments are logged, including who requested the change and when.
Hotlinked Modules offer a convenient and safe method of subdividing a large project into easier to handle smaller files. When you save selected elements from your project as a Module to work on it outside of your project file, the Module can be "hotlinked" (referenced) to your original project file and updated at any time. You can even reference other project files, including Team projects. Hotlinked Modules are also useful for managing repetitive structures, e.g., hotel rooms or offices in a large building. When you edit a single source file, all instances in the project are updated.
