Crashes with ArchiCAD 9 (build 1812) INT on MAC when opening old files

We recently identified a bug in the ArchiCAD 9 (build 1812) version that can cause crash when opening files created with ArchiCAD 7.0 or earlier. The bug applies to the international english version on the MAC platform only. The crash may occur if the ArchiCAD 7.0 file contains skylight, corner window or an object created by any Accesories Add-On. The problem is caused by wrong conversion files that were put on the installer CD by error.

To avoid the problem, please download this file : Conv_files.sit.hqx (8.16 KB), extract it, and replace these files:

In the 'ArchiCAD 9/Add-Ons/Extras' folder:

• AcRoofConv.txt
• AcSlabConv.txt
• AcWallConv.txt
• IwCeilConv.txt
• IwFloorConv.txt
• IwWallConv.txt

In the 'ArchiCAD 9/Add-Ons/Standard' folder:

• CornConv.txt
• SkyConv.txt
