Incorrect height value of Doors/Windows

Written by László Nagy

In ArchiCAD 8.1, Doors/Windows placed in a Wall in a row right next to one another will not have their height value correctly displayed by their Markers. Only the two Doors/Windows positioned on the two ends of the line of Doors/Windows will have their dimension correctly displayed, the rest in between will not.
The occurrence of the bug depends on how those incorrect Doors/Windows were created or moved to their current position. If they were created by dragging them or by multiplication/dragging a copy, the displayed height value will be incorrect. In case each of them were placed next to one another separately, one-by-one, they will be correct.
A workaround for fixing those with incorrect values is to take the value of another Door/Window with the same size/parameters using ALT-click on Windows, OPT-click on Mac, and transfer these settings to them using CTL-ALT-click on Windows, CMD-OPT-click on Mac.

This bug will be fixed in future major releases of ArchiCAD.
