Exact list of loaded Libraries

Written by László Nagy

Some users asked why is it ArchiCAD loads more than a dozen libraries when they have selected only a few to be loaded.
The answer is that there are several ArchiCAD Tools, API Add-Ons that require certain Library Objects to be loaded. For example, Corner Windows, Skylights need their Library Objects to be always loaded when ArchiCAD is loaded. The RoofMaker, Interior Elevation, Structural Grid, etc. Add-Ons also have their Library Parts they use without which they cannot work properly. So these Library Parts are part of their respective Add-On, and if the Add-On is loaded, the Library Objects contained within it are also loaded. There are about a dozen of such Libraries that are always loaded by ArchiCAD as default.
If you go to the Library Manager, and click on the plus sign next to 'Built-in Libraries', you will see all these Libraries listed.

Here you can also see the name of every single Library loaded, something you cannot when progress bar appear while ArchiCAD is loading your Project File.
