Display Problem in 2D Windows

Some video cards produce ghost lines and even dots in 2D windows during the drawing process.

This problem occurs only with erroneous graphic card drivers. To avoid this phenomenon try one of the following:

• Install the latest display driver for your video card. Some manufacturers' download links are available here.
• Edit the Registry:
  • Quit ArchiCAD.
  • Start the Registry Editor (Windows only) from the Start menu (Run...> type Regedit.exe and click on OK).
  • Set the
    HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareGraphisoftArchiCAD
    ArchiCAD 8.0.0 INT Driver Error PatchBlinking key registry key's value to 1.

Note: The registry editing is only available if signed in as an Administrator. You must restart ArchiCAD to apply the new setting.
