Archicad supports Apple's Tiger.
The new MAC OS X 10.4, known as "Tiger", is considered as the world's most advanced Operating System.
The new Tiger OS introduces Spotlight to your Apple® Macintosh-based workflow - the lightning fast search technology that illuminates every corner of your Mac, displaying results as fast as you type. Through close cooperation with Apple prior to its launch, a Spotlight plug-in has been developed for the OS which allows MAC-based designers even greater ability to search within Archicad documents.
Graphisoft has supported the Macintosh platform right from the outset - from 1984, etc. Archicad's support of Spotlight enables you to further improve your productivity and make the workflow even simpler on your Apple Macintosh computer.

Experience the breakthrough new desktop search technology with Archicad®, simply download the Archicad Spotlight plug-in. This will transform your search capabilities - not longer will you only be able to track down project files by their file names. Spotlight throws open the search window, allowing you to track down the following:
- Archicad Project Info and PlotMaker Layout Book Info - all the information that is filled in these dialogs can be searched and easily reached with Spotlight.
- In case of TeamWorkTM projects, Spotlight can provide information on workgroup members as well as on connected members, last user and version information!
- Archicad layer names in any Archicad project on your machine. Simply type the layer name and Spotlight will provide you the list of all those Archicad project files that have the specified layer.
- You are even able to search those Archicad and PlotMaker project files that were created on Windows® platform. Project files from different language versions are also supported.
The following table highlights all the Archicad and PlotMaker project file properties that can be searched and retrieved using Tiger's Spotlight feature:

- The italicized items are saved with the Archicad and PlotMaker project file only if they have been filled out.
- "State/Province" and "Country": in case of the U.S. version, "State/Province" information is saved to the PlotMaker layout book. In the case of any other language version, "Country" information is saved with the project file.
