Operating System:
Windows® XP Professional
and x64 Edition

Windows® Vista Ultimate, Business, Enterprise Edition (32 or 64-bit)
Macintosh® OS X 10.4
or OS X 10.5

Note for Windows users: QuickTime 7 or later and Java 6 or later are required to run ArchiCAD.
ArchiCAD installer will automatically install Java 6 and QuickTime 7 if they are not present on your computer.
CPU*:
Intel® Pentium 4 2GHz, or compatible processors with equal or higher performance
Macintosh® PowerPC G4 series with 1GHz processor; G5 series
Macintosh® with any Intel® processor
RAM:
 1 GB of RAM is required
2 GB or more is recommended for complex models**
Hard Drive Space:

Minimum of 1 GB free hard disk space is required for a full installation.
Additional 2 GB is required for work with complex projects and 3D visualization.

Note: UNIX formatted HDs are not supported
Display:

Recommended resolution: 1280x1024 or higher
Video Card:
 PC: Open GL and DirectX 9 compatible graphic card with on-board video memory of 64 MB is required.

Mac: Open GL compatible graphic card with on-board video memory of 64 MB is required.
On-board video memory of 128 MB or more is recommended.

Optional Hardware Peripheral Devices:
All major plotters, printers and digitizers can be used with ArchiCAD.
