ArchiCAD 14 System Requirements

System:

Note: QuickTime 7 or later and Java 6 or later are required to run ArchiCAD.
ArchiCAD installer will automatically install Java 6 (build 1.6.12) and QuickTime 7 if they are not present on your computer.
CPU:
Intel® Pentium 4, or compatible processors with equal or higher performance
Mac: Macintosh® with any Intel® processor*

Multicore processor is recommended to exploit ArchiCAD 14 performance capabilities. Read more about multiprocessing.

*Note: ArchiCAD 14 for Mac is a 32-bit application which runs with either 32-bit or 64-bit processors. The next version of ArchiCAD however will be 64-bit only on Mac, and will not support 32-bit processors. Here you can find out if your Intel-based Mac has a 32-bit or 64-bit processor.
RAM:
 2 GB of RAM is required, 4 GB or more is recommended for complex models

Hard Drive:

Minimum of 1 GB free hard disk space is required for a full installation.
Additional 2-3 GB is required for work with complex projects and 3D visualization.
Display:

1024x768 resolution is required
1280x1024 or higher is recommended
Video Card:
 Open GL and DirectX 9 compatible graphic card with 256 MB or more on-board video memory is recommended to fully exploit hardware acceleration capabilities. Open GL compatible graphic card with 256 MB or more on-board video memory is recommended to fully exploit hardware acceleration capabilities.
