Archicad to Autodesk Forma Connection

The Forma Connection lets Archicad teams participate in Forma-mandated projects on equal footing with Revit users, without leaving Archicad.

Meet Forma mandates. Stay in Archicad.

Until now, Archicad users working on Forma-mandated projects have had to rely on manual workarounds to meet project requirements. The Forma Connection closes that gap with a native Archicad connection that supports upload of Data Exchange models, making them available as reference data in connected applications, including Revit, as well as any file Archicad can export — DWG, IFC, PDF, RVT, images, and more — for further collaboration and analysis within the Forma environment.

Ready to use out of the box

The Forma Connection is built into Archicad and available directly from the ‘Interoperability’ sub-menu.

No separate installation is required to use the Forma connection. The connection panel is localized and designed to match the Archicad UI and fit into your team’s existing workflow. As Autodesk Forma Data Management is built to connect teams and workflows, the connection is available to teams using Archicad Collaborate (and EDU, NFR, and Trial Collaborate). It is not included with Archicad Studio or MEP Designer Studio.
