Add-ons and parametric objects linked to building standards and AI (MCP), reducing manual work for architects and engineers.
Description
Overview
AT Tools combine add-on functions, parametric library objects and a preconfigured project template. Objects linked to building standards draw on stored standard values, so you no longer look them up and construct them by hand. With the AI connection (MCP), an AI assistant sets the parameters from your description.
Key Capabilities
Library objects
- Ramp: slopes, handrails and edge protection based on stored standard values.
- Swept path: show vehicle movements as a parametric object in the floor plan.
- Parking space and turning circle: plan parking and turning areas as parametric objects.
Add-on functions
- Slab opening label: label slab openings in the floor plan with data from the model.
- Properties palette: edit the properties of selected elements in a dedicated palette.
- Update check: get new versions directly from within the add-on.
AI connection (MCP)
An MCP server connects AT Tools objects to AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol. You describe the situation, such as “semi-trailer, underground garage”, and the assistant handles the parameters.
- Set parameters: the assistant picks suitable values, such as the vehicle for the swept path.
- Calculate geometry: the geometry is calculated instead of constructed by hand.
- Check: the object is checked against the stored standard values.
- One server for all objects, including future ones.
Project template
The AT Template provides an office standard as a preconfigured project template, so you can start projects right away.
Who It's For
Architecture and engineering firms that plan ramps, parking and vehicle access based on building standards and want consistent drawings to an office standard.
Typical Workflows
1. Start your project from the AT Template.
2. Place ramps, parking spaces and swept paths from the library and adjust them via parameters.
3. Alternatively, describe the situation to an AI assistant that sets the parameters via MCP.
4. Label slab openings with the slab opening label.
5. Maintain element properties in the properties palette.
6. Get updates directly from the add-on.
