Graphisoft unveils 2026 product portfolio, led by Archicad and AI-enabled design intelligence
BUDAPEST, HUNGARY, October 7, 2026 — Graphisoft, the leading developer of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software for architecture and multidisciplinary design, today introduced its 2026 product portfolio, led by Archicad and new AI capabilities for architecture, engineering, and construction teams. Built on Graphisoft’s Design Intelligence Strategy, the portfolio combines advances across core solutions with new AI-assisted capabilities, including planned Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectivity and a major update to AI Assistant.
Under the theme “It feels right,” reflecting Graphisoft’s focus on intuitive, frictionless design workflows, the portfolio aims to help architects, engineers, developers, and other stakeholders make more informed decisions from early feasibility through design, coordination, and delivery.
“Great design depends on the freedom to explore, decide, and collaborate with confidence,” said Márton Kiss, Chief Product Officer at Graphisoft. “With our 2026 product portfolio, we are extending the Best Design Experience beyond architectural modeling by bringing data-informed, AI-assisted workflows across the project lifecycle and keeping architects and engineers at the center of the creative process.”
What’s new in Archicad
In addition to the AI improvements, the latest version of Archicad also delivers usability, documentation, project data, visualization, and collaboration improvements for everyday architectural work. Highlights include Dark Mode for Windows, improved multi-story wall visibility, more flexible documentation controls, modernized Project Info management, customizable Navigator organization, and expanded drawing-label options.
“Archicad is about refining the experience architects rely on every day,” Kiss said. “The latest release helps users spend less time managing their software and more time designing great buildings.” Learn more about Archicad. (VIDEO)
What’s new in MEP Designer and DDScad
Graphisoft continues advancing MEP Designer and DDScad, with improvements in BIM querying, visualization, workflow support, and AI integration. MEP Designer is also being rolled out across more than 40 new markets worldwide, expanding access to focused MEP design workflows for a broader global user base. Coming soon: Nemetschek Creator and enhanced AI solutions
The release lays the groundwork for AI-enabled workflows through planned MCP support and enhanced visualization capabilities. During the month of October, Archicad users will be offered additional ecosystem value, including early-access opportunities for Nemetschek Creator and the Open Collaboration Platform, plus high-end real-time visualization through Maxon Redshift. The cloud-native Nemetschek Creator supports early-stage design, sustainability and feasibility insights, AI-assisted analysis, and Archicad connections that carry design intent from concept into BIM — all connected in a shared workspace for architects, developers, investors, urban planners, municipalities, and other project stakeholders. Graphisoft’s AI roadmap also includes an updated AI Visualizer that delivers higher-quality results with a choice of top-tier AI image models, such as Nano Banana Pro. An evolving AI Assistant for product learning and best-practice guidance, enhanced with AI Assistant Spaces, lets architects build a personalized knowledge base from their own documents. Introducing Archicad Max
Graphisoft is also expanding its subscription portfolio with three plans: Archicad Studio, Archicad Collaborate, and the new Archicad Max.
Archicad Collaborate gives growing practices greater value through enhanced collaboration, access, productivity, and early platform benefits. It provides a natural next step for Archicad Studio customers managing more complex projects and increasingly connected teams.
Archicad Max is designed for innovative data- and AI-driven practices seeking broader access to Graphisoft and the Nemetschek Group’s technologies, including advanced design intelligence, AI capabilities, visualization, and connected workflows. It brings together the tools, insights, and ecosystem access global firms need to design, collaborate, and deliver high-complexity projects.
Product availability, release dates, feature scope, subscription packaging, and regional availability may vary. For more information, visit Graphisoft.
