Metaroom turns any LiDAR-enabled iPhone Pro or iPad Pro into a professional as-built survey and digitization tool for existing buildings. Architects, BIM managers, electrical engineers, and MEP planners use it to capture existing spaces in minutes and export structured, accurate digital models- without manual measurements or repeated site visits.

Overview

Metaroom closes the gap between physical buildings and digital planning workflows. Users scan rooms or entire buildings with the Metaroom Scan App, which automatically generates true-to-scale 3D models or floorplans including walls, doors, windows, and spatial geometry. The resulting data is then managed and exported via the Metaroom Workspace- a browser-based platform that supports 30+ file formats, including IFC, DXF, GLB, OBJ, PDF, and USD.

For Archicad users, Metaroom exports data in special IFC format that import directly into the Archicad environment, providing accurate as-built geometry for renovation, retrofit, and documentation projects. For DDScad users, Metaroom exports specialized IFC or 2D DXF files that bring accurate as-built floor plan geometry directly into the electrical planning environment - no redrawing required.
