Migration process
1. How much time do I have to complete the migration process?
You have three weeks to complete the migration process from the date you receive the notice about migration.
2. What steps do I have to take during the process?
1. Log in to the webshop at https://workfromhome.graphisoft.com with your contract manager email address and password.

2. Click on ‘Proceed’ at the top of the page.

3. Please provide your credit card number in the given field.

4. Accept the contract terms and conditions and click on the Start Migration Process button.

5. You will receive an automatic notification confirming the launch of the migration process.
3. How long does the migration process take?
GRAPHISOFT is committed to making the migration process as fast and as easy as possible. After completing the steps on your end, it should take from 1 to 3 business days for the migration to happen. You will receive an email confirmation.
4. After I log in to the webshop, I can’t do anything besides cancel my subscription or migrate my subscription. Why?
The functions are limited during the migration process to ensure that the data doesn’t change. The migration should take from 1-3 business days, after which you will receive an email notification.
5. I’d like to change my monthly subscription to an annual one, but the webshop doesn’t make this possible. Why?
The functions are limited during the migration process to ensure that the data doesn’t change. The migration should take from 1-3 business days, after which you will receive an email notification. Once the migration process has been completed, you will have access to the full range of webshop functions.
6. I’d like to purchase additional licenses, but the webshop doesn’t make this possible. Why?

7. Who can I contact for support during the migration?

You have a limited amount of time to complete the migration. Please log in to the webshop and start the migration process.
9. What happens if I don’t complete the migration process?
GRAPHISOFT will cancel those accounts that don’t complete the migration process by February 28, 2021.
10. I don’t have a valid subscription. Do I have to migrate?
GRAPHISOFT will cancel accounts that do not have valid subscriptions and don’t migrate the account to the new webshop by February 28, 2021. Users will have to re-register to be able to use the new webshop. We recommend migrating your account now to be able to use the new webshop later.
Subscriptions
1. During the migration process will my projects be available on BIMcloud SaaS?
The migration process does not affect the server and the access to project files; those will be available during the process.
2. Can I use my purchased licenses during the migration process?
Yes, all purchased licenses can be used during the migration process.
3. Where will the data that I currently store on BIMcloud SaaS be stored after the migration process?
The location of and access to the BIMcloud SaaS server will not change during the migration. The data will remain in your region and will be stored where it was earlier.
4. Will my Subscription renewal date change?
No, the renewal dates remain the same.
5. Who can I turn to for support after the migration?
BIMcloud SaaS product support will continue to be provided by your local partner.
Payment/Pricing/Invoicing
1. What currency will I be billed in after the migration?
After completion of the migration process, Subscriptions will continue to be billed in EUR.
2. Will the price of BIMcloud SaaS change after the migration?
The migration will not affect the price of Subscriptions.
3. Will the promotion currently offered in the webshop be available after the migration?
Yes, the promotion will be available under the same terms and conditions.
4. Will the payment options change after the migration?
No, users can continue to pay in the webshop with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners’ credit and debit cards.
5. Why do I have to provide the credit/debit card data that I used for payment?
During the migration process, Graphisoft Asia will take over all financial tasks concerning Subscriptions. Re-registering your credit/debit card details guarantees that the Subscription purchases and renewals will migrate to GRAPHISOFT Asia.
6. Who will I receive the invoices from after the migration process is completed?
GRAPHISOFT Asia.
7. What will happen to the earlier invoices I received?
Invoices previously issued will remain available on the webshop’s Invoices page.
Legal
1. Why is this migration necessary?
In March 2020, when it became clear that a majority of our users would have to transition to a work-from-home scenario, we wanted to make BIMcloud as a Service available as quickly and as easily as possible. To do so, we used our existing webshop in the UK. Now, 6 months on, we have decided to migrate our webshop to GRAPHISOFT.

3. Why was BIMcloud as a Service initially sold through the UK?
In March 2020, when it became clear that a majority of our users would have to transition to a work-from-home scenario, we wanted to make BIMcloud as a Service available as quickly and as easily as possible. To do so, we used our existing webshop in the UK.
4. Can I maintain my contract with Graphisoft UK?
No, because GRAPHISOFT will cease to support the global webshop in the UK.
5. How does the migration affect my personal data? What data does GRAPHISOFT Asia have access to?
Even though the new webshop will be operated by Graphisoft Asia in Hong Kong, it will continue using servers located within the European Union. So, the migration of your personal data and project data from GRAPHISOFT UK to GRAPHISOFT Asia will not be accompanied by moving your data anywhere else.
During the migration, no personal or other data will be transferred outside of the European Union.
With respect to new orders you place in the webshop:
- For managing your orders, your Identity and Contact Data remain within the European Union.
- For managing your payments, Graphisoft uses an external payment processor — Stripe Inc. — to process your Financial Data and Transaction Data (e.g. bank card details). The data leaves the European Union and is transferred to Hong Kong by Stripe Inc.
To provide you with the BIMcloud SaaS that you purchased, Graphisoft works with Graphisoft Partners based in the country of your business. If you are within the borders of the European Union, then your data remains within the European Union.
Any data you use and store in BIMcloud SaaS is retained in the Google data centers closest to the country in which your business is based.
6. Does the Hong Kong Security Law have any affect with respect to my personal data? Will the Chinese government see or access my personal data?
No. The recently introduced Hong Kong Security law does not have any effect on our webshop operations and on your data; GRAPHISOFT has no obligation to share any personal information about its customers with the Chinese Government or any Chinese Government Agencies.
