Graphisoft and Its CEO Featured in TIME Magazine

Time Magazine’s e-Europe
Special Report profiled the
company’s and the people who are
shaping the future of electronic
commerce in Europe. Graphisoft
President and CEO
Gábor Bojár told the magazine
how the company that started in
his attic 18 years ago in
Communist Hungary now has
offices as far away as Japan and
Brazil.

Graphisoft, called one
of Europe’s 22 High-Tech Hot
Spots, was featured primarily
because
of its GDL technology, which is
allowing building product
manufacturers to offer
intelligent
electronic versions of their
product catalogs over the
Internet. These “branded”
objects can
then easily be downloaded into
architectural projects, making
it probable that the real
products will later become part
of the real building.
