Archicad 12 SWE Library Update

Version 2009-05-13

This Hotfix includes important fixes for library bugs discovered since the original release of Archicad 12 (Build 2285). This Hotfix can be applied to any build of Archicad 12 (Build 2285 and above).

Install steps:

  1. Download the Hotfix by clicking on the Download button on the previous page.
  2. Exit Archicad before you start the installer.
  3. Make sure that you have administrator rights on your computer.
  4. Make sure that components of your Archicad Library have not been renamed or in any other way modified. If you have modified the Archicad 12 standard library, please re-install it from the original Archicad install DVD.
  5. Double-click on the downloaded file to start the installer. To run the installer, Java version 6 must be installed on your computer. You can install Java version 6 from your original Archicad install DVD.
  6. Follow the instructions of the wizard to complete the installation.


Most important bugs corrected in this update:

  • 90046 – Corner-Windows: Basfönster don’t intersect at the corner
  • 88766 – Corner-Windows: Corner-Window in walls with different width falls apart
  • 88075 – Curtain Wall: Shadow casting of curtain wall frames is turned off by default
  • 91522 – Door label: Baslittera 12 works incorrectly in migrated projects
  • 91061 – Doors, Windows: casing type cannot be changed
  • 69116 – Doors: D1 Entrance St, D2 Entrance St: Leaf ( 3 ) Material Outside 3D cannot be changed
  • 87959 – Objects: Chairs: cannot Enable Object’s Pens, always use Symbol Line Pens
  • 91470 – Objects: Namnruta 02: Beteckning parameter has wrong values
  • 89099 – Objects: Night table 01, 02: leg style can’t be changed
  • 90034 – Objects: Punktkoordinat object is inaccurate in great distances
  • 74062 – Objects: Shutter Rectangular: Double shutter with leaf type 4 only one leaf is shown
  • 87354 – Wall End: warning appears when placing Returned End in the composite curved wall
  • 56008 – Windows: Bansfönster 10 and Bansfönster_fast 10: cannot change window post material setting
  • 90731 – Windows: Basfönster: 3D sash opening doesn’t work
  • 89960 – Windows: Basfönster: Wrong shadow casting on elevation because of intersecting polygons
  • 87989 – Windows: The 3D and 2D of the “W2 casement HDiv 12” window do not correspond
