This Hotfix addresses installation and update, documentation, and other miscellaneous issues. The fixes are listed in full detail below.
List of improvements
Installation & Update
- We fixed an issue where Archicad displayed version 29.0.0 after installing the 3100 Hotfixes. The application now correctly shows version 29.0.1. (DEF-26008)
- We fixed an issue, where Archicad could crash while saving a file from Archicad 29 to Archicad 28. (DEF-25673)
Project data & BIM
- We fixed an issue where importing a Work Environment from earlier versions caused several existing commands, including Keynotes, Design Options, and multiple MEP tools, to appear as new in Archicad 29 and drop out of the imported setup. These commands now carry over correctly. (DEF-24685)
Cosmetic & Translations
- We fixed an issue where accessing Archicad Help from the Learning Center tabs opened a failing page. Archicad now uses the correct Help links following recent storage and format changes. (DEF-26358)
- We corrected the quick rotate shortcut in the GER and AUT versions to use Ctrl or Cmd plus the right or left arrow key. (DEF-26058)
- We fixed some Library element releated translation issues. (DEF-26028, DEF-26024)
All relevant improvements and fixes are also included in the corresponding Archicad version, which is available through its respective installer.

Installation notes
- The Update process will automatically search your computer for the Archicad 29 (including MEP Feature Set, Energy Evaluation and all Graphisoft Add-ons) or the MEP Designer installation folder.
- Make sure you have administrator rights on the computer. Start the full installation process using an administrator account.
- Make sure none of the Archicad components are modified (e.g. renamed).
- If you have multiple copies of Archicad on your machine, then the installer will automatically find one copy. If you want to update a different instance, you can use the “Browse” button to locate it. You will need to run the installer multiple times to update each copy of Archicad.
