Budapest / Hong Kong – June 23, 1999
China Space Civil and Building Engineering Design Research Institute (CSCBI), an affiliate of China Aerospace Corporation (CASC), has committed to implementing Archicad in its design department and will actively work to spread Archicad throughout China.
Following an initial training period, CSCBI, one of the largest Beijing-based design institutions with numerous subsidiaries throughout China, will begin using Archicad on their next commercial project. In addition, they will carry out various activities to promote Archicad; progressively introduce Archicad to their subsidiaries; and actively take part in Graphisoft seminars and expositions in China.
Their projects, modeled and designed in Archicad, will serve as a reference for other Chinese designers to observe how they can benefit from the use of Archicad in their daily practice. In addition, CSCBI will regularly report on their experiences with Archicad, helping Graphisoft to better adapt Archicad to local requirements.
“We are glad that CSCBI has joined our growing community of Archicad users,” said András Szigeti, Managing Director of Graphisoft Hong Kong. “Graphisoft believes that many architectural practices will follow this leading design institute’s move towards Archicad.”
“Our aim was to work with cutting-edge technology and we found it in Archicad. Being conscious about our society we are committed to the education of the architectural community and development of quality architectural design in China, so we are happy to promote Archicad among my fellow architects,” said Mr. Wang Zhenhui, Deputy President of CSCBI.
