3D Representation


The opening angle of the door panel in 3D view, as well as in sections and elevations, will be specified with the first parameter. Opening lines show the opening direction of the door. The 3D opening lines will move with the panel in the above named views and all other views will be updated accordingly.

The visibility of the opening lines can be controlled with the on/off switch and the linetype can be set.

There are six parameters to describe the pen and the fill of frames, panels and glass in sections. If Use Symbol Section Attributes is turned off, then the settings in the panel Section overwrite them.

You will find two parameters that determine the display speed of the object in 3D. Curve Resolution determines approximately how many polygon sections will be in a circle or cylindrical surface. The higher this value is, the more accurate the curve is. However, the more accurate the curve, the longer it takes to generate on the screen. If the shadow casting is irrelevant but you need a higher image generation speed, you may turn Shadow off.
