Visual Editing
Once the door has been placed, you have the ability to alter some of its properties right on the floor plan. You get immediate graphical feedback with each of the changes, that is why we call it visual editing.

Select the door with the Arrow Tool by clicking on it with the pointer. The cursor turns arrow-shaped over the hotspots and magnet-shaped over other selectable regions. When selected, the hotspots of the door become highlighted.

Usually you find hotspots on the corners and on other characteristic points of the objects. In the case of doors, there are always hotspots on the corner points of the opening and frame, as well as on the outer edge of the leave. On the floor plan, you can change three different things.
- Position of the door
Click once on any of the highlighted hotspots. The pet palette pops up. Choose Move. With the second click you may specify the distance of the displacement.
- Width
Click once on any of the outer corner points of the door frame. Choose Stretch from the popup palette. Specify the new corner with a second click.
- Opening angle
Click on the gray hotspot on the outer edge of the leave. Choose Stretch from the popup palette. With the next click you specify the direction of the leave. Alternatively, you can type in the numeric value into the parameter palette.
In addition to these three options in 2D, you can change the height of the door in the 3D view. In this case, the popup palette looks different.
