Additionally the following limitations are currently known in Archicad 8 R2/v2:
- #20502 – Teamwork: In case of a view set which is not yours and the publishing destination is not set, then the Publish button will be active in the Publish window, but at the same time the OK button will be inactive in the View Set Publishing Properties Dialog. Workaround: Duplicate this set and it will be yours.
- #21388 – When importing PLNs into PlotMaker, the 3D views (non-OpenGL, plain Archicad 3D engine) are imported as 72 dpi bitmaps. Workaround: Save as PMK.
- #21696 – Sometimes the reserving rectangles of other Team Members cannot be seen during Sign In. Only Rebuild helps.
- #21871 – Holes in fills and zones may disappear when zoomed in. Turning Open GL on in 2D solves the problem.
- #05826 – After setting a special Grid Snap Spacing in Archicad and opening a file which is not a PLN (e.g. DWF or DWG) the grid snap goes wrong. Workaround: Go to Options/ Grid & Background and do not position anywhere with the cursor just push OK.
- #03533 – Black and White print with LaserWriter: white solid fill polygons will be black with LaserWriter 8.6. Workaround: For Zone polygons: Set Hide Color in Display Options. For wall & polygon fills: use empty fill, white background instead.
- #04447 – When placing a window in a curved wall with its corner it will not be placed where you want to but a little bit shifted. Workaround: Place it with its center.
- #06338 – Spellchecker: Labels (ID-type labels only) associated to selected elements are not checked for spelling errors. Workaround: Deselect everything before running Spellchecker.
- #21708 – Amyuni PDF writer turns upside-down texts back to their feet. Workaround: Set the angle of the text to 179.99.
- #21737 – When selecting a dimension chain and Ctrl-clicking on a point which cannot be associative a new point will be generated in the chain. Next time opening the section a warning appears about that these points needs to be changed to static. These points should have been placed as static.
